San Diego, October 24-25, 2008

PNHP’s Annual Meeting this year will be in San Diego on Saturday, October 25. We’ll host a Leadership Training for a limited number of participants in advance of the meeting, starting at noon on Friday, October 24. Speakers include:

  • Drs. David Himmelstein and Steffie Woolhandler (on policy and politics)
  • Rose Ann DeMoro (on labor support for single payer)
  • Tsung-Mei Cheng (on Taiwan’s single payer system)
  • Dr. Kevin Grumbach (on the primary care workforce and single payer)
  • PNHP President-elect Dr. Oliver Fein (on PNHP strategy in the post-election period and local chapter building)
  • Dr. Jim Kahn (on private insurance overhead and financing)
  • Dr. Andrew Coates (on organizing state single payer coalitions)
  • Parker Duncan (medical student lobbying for single payer) and many more.
